Walking into any new place for the first time can feel a little awkward, especially when you're not sure what the treatments involve. We get it. So here's a straightforward rundown of what your first visit to DWT Wellness looks like.
Step 1: We Actually Listen
Before anything else, we sit down and talk. Not a five-minute rushed conversation where someone's already typing on a computer, but an actual conversation about what's going on with you. What hurts? How long has it been going on? What have you tried? What does your day look like? We need this information to figure out which therapies make sense for your specific situation.
Step 2: We Explain Everything
Once we have a picture of what you're dealing with, we'll walk you through the therapies we think will help. PEMF, red light therapy, NormaTec compression, BrainTap, vibroacoustic therapy. We'll explain what each one does, why we're recommending it, and what it feels like. No jargon, no pressure. If you have questions, ask them. That's what we're here for.
Step 3: Your First Session
Most first-time clients start with a PEMF session since it's our most versatile therapy. You'll stay fully clothed, lie on a comfortable mat or have an applicator placed on the target area, and relax for about 20 to 30 minutes. Some people feel a gentle pulsing or warmth. Some feel nothing at all during the session but notice improvements afterward. Both are completely normal.
After the session, we'll check in with you, talk about how you felt, and discuss a plan going forward. There's no commitment required.
